Best Self Books - The Total Resource
As the writer and editor for an online self-help superstore, you’d think I’d be able to provide an answer to a question such as, “What’s the best self help product for me?” in a moment. Sorry, but I just can’t. Because the question immediately begs a question of its own.
Self Help Books are what we live and breathe at The Happiness Superstore…
When you enquire, ‘What’s the best self-help product for me?’ what specifically do you mean when you say ‘me’?
Now I don’t want to get embroiled in an existential discussion, here. The nature of reality and identity will have to wait for another day. However, just reflect over the last couple of days. Think about a situation when you were relaxed (taking a deep bath, maybe). Think about a time when you were hassled (your PC kept crashing). Think about a situation when you were enraged (your computer still kept crashing and the IT support desk suggested you try switching it off and back on again). Think about a time when you were content (drinking great coffee with great friends). Consider all those situations: was it actually the same ‘me’ who occupied each of those little moments in time? Is the annoyed ‘me’ the same as the cheerful ‘me’? For most of us, the answer is no. We aren’t the same person from one day to the next, and on our more hapless days, we’re not even the same character from one moment to the next.
Walt Whitman put it best, I think, when he wrote ‘I contain multitudes’.
We all do. We each of us ‘contain multitudes’.
So, why then do you think (or even hope) there is a self-help product out there that is ideally made for you, a best self help product?
Which ‘you’?
Luckily, there is a whole assortment of self-help books and motivating products out there, multitudes in fact. And not only could you find the best self-help product for you, you could find the best self-help product for all the’ yous’ you contain.
At The Happiness Superstore we’ll help you decide exactly what Best Self-Help Product for you is…
Good luck. To all of you.
